Are 0345 numbers included in your o2 call allowance?
03 and 0345 are standard fixed line numbers and can be located anywhere across the UK.
If you have the minutes required for the phone call then 0345 numbers are included in your allowance, however, if you’ve run out of minutes then you’ll be charged for the call at a local call rate.
According to o2, “0345 numbers are considered the same as 01 and 02”.
As long as you’re within your allowance you can make ‘free’ calls to these numbers.
Which numbers are included in your o2 call allowance?
As standard, o2 includes 01, 02 and 07 numbers in their tariffs.
Dependent on the number of minutes and texts you have available, you should be able to make calls to numbers beginning 01, 02, 03 and 07 with no additional charge.
If you do go over your allowance, however, you will be charged at the standard UK rate.
Are 0800 numbers free on o2?
0800 and 0808 numbers are classed as ‘freephone’ numbers. You can call these numbers from a mobile or landline telephone without incurring a charge.
Business numbers such as 0843, 0844, 0845, 0870, 0871, 0872, and 0873 are different, however.
In 2016 it was reported that as an alternative to chargeable 08 numbers, such as 0870, Ofcom introduced UK-wide 03 numbers.
Which numbers aren’t included in an o2 tariff?
08, 09, and 118 numbers are all service numbers.
Each has an access charge of 55p whether you’re calling from a landline or a mobile phone.
The charge for making these calls is split into two parts, one being the access charge, charged by o2 and another, the service charge, which is issued by the company or organisation you’re calling.
Calls to these numbers will not be included in your o2 allowance.
